Michael
\nPage<\/a> isn\u2019t happy with his win over Sam
\nPatterson<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Page took on former training partner Patterson in a welterweight
\nmatchup at
\nUFC London<\/a> on Saturday. The two Englishmen failed to impress
\nthe London crowd as the feeling-out process never seemed to end.
\nDespite referee Rich
\nMitchell<\/a> urging for more action, Page and Patterson just
\ncontinued to occasionally touch each other from a distance. While
\nPage earned a unanimous decision win in a bout filled with
\ninactivity, London\u2019s O2 Arena showered him with boos. <\/p>\n

Page admits that it was a frustrating night at the office for him.
\n\u201cMVP\u201d accuses his opponent of coasting for most of the fight. Page
\nsays it\u2019s difficult to track even lesser fighters when they are
\nunwilling to engage. Page also believes Patterson knew when to
\navoid him from their past experience training together. What Page
\ncan\u2019t comprehend is whether Patterson had a winning strategy at
\nall. Page feeld that Patterson was just happy to go the distance
\nagainst him. The frustrating outing is making \u201cMVP\u201d consider
\nchanging his style altogether.<\/p>\n

Happy to Get By<\/h2>\n

\u201cFor the most part he was running,\u201d Page said in a post-fight
\ninterview with the UFC. \u201cIn general, I think I could get someone
\nrelatively amateur and if they\u2019re moving around, it\u2019s still gonna
\nbe difficult for you to lock in on them if they\u2019re not engaging. So
\nwhen you got someone even more talented\u2026 He\u2019s familiar with me, so
\nhe knows where I\u2019m dangerous. And I felt like that\u2019s why he adopted
\nthis. I just didn\u2019t understand where he was gonna get the win from.
\nSo I just felt like he was happy to get by\u2026 It\u2019s annoying, it\u2019s
\nfrustrating, I might have to just completely change my style.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Page (25-3) has lost only once in five UFC outings, most of
\nhis wins have been lackluster. Meanwhile, Patterson (14-3) was
\nriding a four-fight first-round finishing streak before his loss
\nagainst Page.  <\/p>\n
