Riley (13-0) and Aswell (11-4) traded leather in a featherweight
\nmatchup in the co-main event at UFC London on Saturday. Riley
\noutclassed Aswell on the feet, clearly landing the more damaging
\nshots. However, Aswell put on an impressive display of grit in
\nrefusing to go down. Riley earned a unanimous decision victory
\nafter fifteen minutes. <\/p>\n

Riley says that he knew Aswell was a tough customer going into the
\nfight. And \u201cThe Texas Kid\u201d lived up to his reputation against
\nRiley. Riley believes he could have put some more power behind his
\nshots to dispatch Aswell. However, the Liverpudlian admits that his
\nhands and arms already hurt a bit from punching Aswell\u2019s head.<\/p>\n

A Solid Head<\/h2>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll be honest. He\u2019s never been finished before,\u201d Riley said in
\nhis post-fight interview. \u201cPeople were saying he was tough, but
\nyeah, he is tough. I feel like I wasn\u2019t sitting down on me shots as
\nmuch as I should have been. But the shots I was hitting him with,
\nhe could take them. He has a solid head and he was tough. Me hands
\nare hurt, and a bit me arms. So yeah, Michael
\nAswell<\/a>, he is a tough motherf\u2014\u2014er.\u201d<\/p>\n

Riley maintained his undefeated record with the win over Aswell,
\nwhich was his second
\nUFC<\/a> victory. Meanwhile, Aswell, who has never been finished in
\nhis career, is now 1-2 in the UFC. <\/p>\n
