Dana White has doubled down on his stance about Jon Jones<\/a>
\nnever being a part of the White House plan. <\/p>\n

Jones is not fighting at the
\nUFC White House<\/a> card in June despite having tried for a spot
\never since the event was first mentioned. Jones recently claimed
\nthat he was willing to fight Alex
\nPereira<\/a> for much less than he had demanded to fight Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> last year. However, the UFC was allegedly not willing
\nto offer more than $15 million to Jones, who didn\u2019t think it was
\nenough.<\/p>\n

No Way in Hell<\/h2>\n

White responded to Jones\u2019 claims at the
\nUFC London<\/a> post-fight press conference on Saturday. White
\nmaintains that Jones was never a part of the plan for the White
\nHouse card.<\/p>\n

\u201cHow many f\u2014-ing times I gotta say this?\u201d White said<\/a>. \u201cHe was never fighting on the White House card\u2026
\nThere was no way in hell I was putting him on that card, no matter
\nwhat the money was. Jon Jones<\/a> was
\nnever gonna fight in the White House card.\u201d <\/p>\n

Jones (28-1) kept the heavyweight division hanging for over a year,
\nwhile White kept promising fans that \u201cBones\u201d would fight interim
\nchampion Aspinall. However, Jones retired in June 2025 without
\nfighting Aspinall. Jones would return to the drug testing pool just
\nweeks later, after plans for the White House card were mentioned.
\nJones kept rallying for a spot on the card, even pleading with
\nWhite. <\/p>\n

When Jones missed out, White claimed that he was never a part of
\nthe plan. However, the former UFC double champ lashed out on social
\nmedia, hinting at lengthy negotiations with the promotion about
\nfighting at the White House. Jones has since called for his release
\nfrom the UFC.<\/p>\n
