\nVallejos<\/a> hype train. <\/p>\n

Masvidal says he hasn\u2019t been as excited for a prospect in a while
\nas he is for Vallejos (18-1). \u201cGamebred\u201d was extremely impressed
\nwith Vallejos\u2019 dominant knockout win over Josh Emmett<\/a>
\nat
\nUFC Vegas 114<\/a> earlier this month. Masvidal is confident that
\nVallejos is destined for championship glory in the featherweight
\ndivision.<\/p>\n

Destined for Big Things?<\/h2>\n

\u201cThat dude is the truth,\u201d Masvidal said on the “Death Row MMA\u201d podcast.<\/a> \u201cI haven\u2019t been
\nexcited about a motherf\u2014\u2014r in a minute\u2026 He made it look like Emmett
\nbrought fists, and he pulled out a gun and started shooting\u2026 I\u2019m
\nvery high on this guy. I think this guy\u2019s gonna do big things at
\n145 [pounds]. If this guy doesn\u2019t become champ, I don\u2019t know s\u2014t
\nabout the sport.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vallejos suffered his lone professional loss in his first
\nDana White’s Contender Series<\/a> opportunity in 2023 against
\nJean
\nSilva<\/a>, who is now on the cusp of featherweight title
\ncontention. A couple of wins on the regional circuit earned another
\nContender Series for Vallejos, who earned his
\nUFC<\/a> contract this time with a first-round knockout win. The
\nArgentinian then racked up three consecutive wins, finishing
\nGiga
\nChikadze<\/a> and Seung Woo
\nChoi<\/a>, to get his first UFC main event against Josh Emmett<\/a>.
\nVallejos looked nearly flawless while knocking out Emmett in the
\nfirst round. <\/p>\n
