Michael
\nPage<\/a> has lofty goals despite nearing the end of his current UFC
\ncontract.<\/p>\n

Page (25-3) had finished 16 of his 20 career wins when he signed
\nwith the
\nUFC<\/a> in December 2023. While \u201cMVP\u201d is known for his flashy
\nstriking, his fan-friendly style didn\u2019t translate well into the
\nUFC. Page has since scored four lukewarm decision wins, while
\nsuffering a loss against Ian Garry<\/a>.
\nThe Englishman most recently earned a lackluster decision win
\nagainst Sam
\nPatterson<\/a> at
\nUFC London<\/a> last weekend. Page seemed content to poke at his
\nopponent from a distance without landing anything significant. Dana
\nWhite admitted that it was a \u201cbad\u201d fight.<\/p>\n

Page has since revealed that he has one fight left on his current
\nUFC contract. Despite an illustrious career at Bellator
\nMMA<\/a>, Page had always dreamed of being in the UFC. While Page
\ndoesn\u2019t shy away from voicing his complaints with the UFC, he
\nclarifies that he is extremely grateful to be part of the
\npromotion. The 38-year-old still aims to become a UFC champion
\nsomeday. Page plans to talk to the UFC about his route to a title
\nshot during his next contract discussions.<\/p>\n

Mapping a Route to the Title<\/h2>\n

\u201cI think I got one more, it was a six-fight deal,\u201d Page said on
\n“The Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a> \u201c\u2026 I\u2019ll never shy
\naway from saying how I feel if I\u2019m irritated. If I genuinely
\nbelieve it, I\u2019ll say it. But I\u2019m super hyped that I\u2019m part of the
\nUFC\u2026 But I also want to get something back from it. So the goal is
\nthe UFC belt. As soon as we have the next conversation about where
\nI\u2019m gonna go, how many fights that\u2019s gonna need, let\u2019s sign me up.
\nI want to get a belt\u2026 I\u2019m upset with myself that I haven\u2019t
\ndelivered what I know I can deliver. But I\u2019m dying to show that to
\nthe UFC and the world.\u201d
