\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>‘s return to Washington is now
\nofficial after the
\nUFC Seattle<\/a> weigh-ins took place on Friday.<\/p>\n

Headlining the 13-fight card is a bout between former champ
\nIsrael
\nAdesanya<\/a> and middleweight prospect Joe Pyfer<\/a>.
\nBoth men successfully made weight for the five-round fight without
\nissue. All other fighters on the card were also professionals, as
\neveryone made weight.<\/p>\n

Adesanya (24-5) is in desperate need of a win as he’s on a
\nthree-fight losing streak. Surprising losses to Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> and Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> saw the reign of “The Last Stylebender” come to an end.
\nNow 36, and coming off a TKO defeat to Nassourdine
\nImavov<\/a>, the City Kickboxing product will look to show that he
\nstill has more left in the tank by taking a slight step down from
\nelite competition. Adesanya weighed 186 pounds for his latest UFC
\nmain event.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, this is the biggest fight in the career of Pyfer (15-3). “Bodybagz” is riding a three-fight win streak since losing to
\nJack
\nHermansson<\/a> and, most recently, submitted Abusupiyan
\nMagomedov<\/a>. Other recent wins include a decision over Kelvin
\nGastelum<\/a> and a knockout of Marc-Andre
\nBarriault<\/a>. The 29-year-old will look to get his first win in a
\nheadlining bout and weighed 186 pounds on the dot.<\/p>\n

UFC Seattle will air in its entirety on Paramount+ on Saturday. The
\nmain card starts at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT, while the prelims begin at
\n5 p.m. ET\/2 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n
