Colby
\nCovington<\/a> has doubled down on his claims of having dominated
\nArman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> in training. <\/p>\n

Tsarukyan defeated Georgio Poullas in a wrestling rematch in the
\nmain event at RAF 7 on Saturday. Covington defeated Dillon
\nDanis<\/a> on the co-main event of the same card. Covington had
\nrecently claimed that he schooled Tsarukyan in training when he was
\nat
\nAmerican Top Team<\/a> in Coconut Creek, Florida. However, Tsarukyan
\nhas since denied the allegations, claiming to have never trained
\nwith Covington at ATT. Tsarukyan and Covington could be on a
\ncollision course for a wrestling match at RAF, as they have both
\nexpressed interest in the idea. <\/p>\n

Covington (17-5) has since accused Tsarukyan (23-3) of lying by
\ndenying that they trained together. But Covington plans to remind
\nTsarukyan of their grappling practice in a potential matchup at
\nRAF.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s lying about it because he was a young kid at that time\u2026 Now
\nhe is in his prime, he feels like he is unbeatable,\u201d Covington told
\nSubmission Radio<\/a>. \u201cHe feels like he is on top
\nof the world. So, he\u2019s just acting a little arrogant, he\u2019s not
\nbeing real and truthful. And the truth of the matter is that a 100%
\nwe grappled when I was at ATT. I know he remembers but he just
\ndoesn\u2019t want to tell the fans. But it\u2019s okay, I\u2019ll give him another
\nreminder on the RAF mats too.\u201d<\/p>\n

He Never Took Me Down<\/h2>\n

Tsarukyan joined ATT in 2019 and Covington left the team a year
\nlater due to multiple disputes with teammates. While Covington
\nadmits that Tsarukyan was a tough customer sometimes, \u201cChaos\u201d
\nclaims he was on a different level.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember he is a strong guy, he\u2019s got some crazy hips,\u201d
\nCovington said. \u201cAnd I remember he was very hard to take down at
\ntimes, but I was levels above him. I took him down many times. He
\nnever took me down. He just couldn\u2019t scramble with me.\u201d <\/p>\n
