\nmight be a problem for Alex
\nPereira<\/a>. <\/p>\n

With heavyweight champion Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> recovering from an eye injury, Pereira (13-3) and Gane
\n(13-2) will fight for the interim heavyweight title at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. Ngannou believes his former
\ntraining partner will be the quicker fighter. Meanwhile, Ngannou
\npredicts that Pereira will be stronger and more stable in his
\nstance. Ngannou believes Pereira will have a hard time figuring out
\nhow to close the distance against Gane to begin with.<\/p>\n

A Contrast in Skill Sets<\/h2>\n

\u201cCiryl Gane comes here more with the strategy of a lighter person,\u201d
\nNgannou told TMZ Sports<\/a>. \u201cBecause he moves a lot, he is
\nfast. And I think Alex
\nPereira<\/a> will be more stiff, stable, strong, and solid. Ciryl
\nwill be more fast, moving around, his technique, he\u2019s good at that.
\nAnd it\u2019s gonna be very difficult for Alex
\nPereira<\/a> to even get to the distance to figure out what he can
\ndo.\u201d <\/p>\n

Ngannou and Gane used to be training partners at the MMA Factory in
\nParis under the tutelage of coach Fernand Lopez. However, Ngannou
\nlater parted ways with the gym over a financial dispute with Lopez.
\nNgannou later put his heavyweight title on the line against Gane at
\nUFC 270 in 2022. While Ngannou is a known knockout artist, he
\nsurprisingly used wrestling to stifle Gane\u2019s movement and earn a
\nunanimous decision win. However, Ngannou believes Gane has since
\ndeveloped his wrestling and is not to be underestimated on the
\nground. <\/p>\n
