Jose
\nDelgado<\/a> wants some big names for his next outing. <\/p>\n

Delgado (11-2) is coming off a hard-fought split-decision win over
\nfeatherweight veteran Andre Fili<\/a>
\nearlier this month. Delgado recently called out David
\nOnama<\/a>, Dan Ige<\/a> and
\nJosh
\nEmmett<\/a>. While Onama and Emmett are ranked 14 and 15,
\nrespectively, in the official
\nUFC<\/a> featherweight rankings, Ige recently lost his No. 13 spot
\nto Patricio
\nFreire<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Emmett headlined the same card against Kevin
\nVallejos<\/a>, where Delgado defeated Fili. Vallejos knocked Emmett
\nout clean in the very first round. Despite Emmett\u2019s recent loss,
\nDelgado believes the veteran knockout artist still has the \u201ctouch
\nof death.\u201d Delgado recalls when Emmett sent Bryce
\nMitchell<\/a> to the shadow realm with a right hand in 2023, in one
\nof the scariest knockouts in recent history.<\/p>\n

Not Here to Skate By<\/h2>\n

\u201c[David] Onama or Dan Ige<\/a> would
\nbe sweet,\u201d Delgado told Home of Fight.<\/a> \u201cEven Josh Emmett<\/a>\u2026
\nEmmett\u2019s got touch of death, man. The Bryce
\nMitchell<\/a> knockout is one that will live in all our minds rent
\nfree. But that\u2019s what I\u2019m here for. I\u2019m not here to just skate by.
\nI love the feeling of, \u2018Ooh, that\u2019s something to look out for.\u2019 I
\nlove having to face those questions for months in
\npreparation.\u201d <\/p>\n

Emmett (19-7) is one of only two fighters to go the distance
\nagainst current lightweight champion Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a>, who is a feared knockout artist. Emmett bounced back
\nfrom a decision loss against Topuria with the iconic knockout of
\nMitchell. However, the 41-year-old has since dropped three in a
\nrow, including two stoppage losses. Meanwhile, currently 3-1 in the
\nUFC, Delgado rebounded from his only UFC loss against Nathaniel
\nWood<\/a> with the recent win over Fili. <\/p>\n
