Jackson (37-14) won the UFC light heavyweight title with an iconic
\nknockout in a rematch against Chuck
\nLiddell<\/a> in 2007. Jackson claims to have made $7 million for his
\nwin over Liddell. However, Liddell recently accused the UFC of
\nchanging his contract without his knowledge, after they found out
\nabout his earnings from the fight.<\/p>\n

A Hefty Sum<\/h2>\n

\u201cWhen they found out I made that $7 million, I\u2019m gonna say it \u2013
\nthey changed my contract without me knowing,\u201d Jackson said on Adin
\nRoss\u2019 Kick stream. \u201c\u2026 Because they bought my contract from another
\norganization.\u201d <\/p>\n

Jackson was a massive draw at
\nPride Fighting Championships<\/a> in Japan and carried over his
\nstardom to the UFC. The UFC had to buy Jackson\u2019s contract from the World Fighting
\nAlliance<\/a> when they acquired the promotion in 2006. Jackson
\nbelieves the UFC wasn\u2019t initially aware that his contract
\nguaranteed him pay-per-view dividends, which kept trickling in for
\nyears after his knockout win over Liddell. \u201cRampage\u201d had several
\nfalling outs with the UFC over the years and finally parted ways
\nwith the promotion after fighting out his contract in
\n2015. <\/p>\n
