Dillashaw revealed that he got just<br \/>\n$18,000 to show and $18,000 to win for his his first title victory.<br \/>\nDillashaw earned his UFC contract on \u201cThe Ultimate Fighter\u201d Season<br \/>\n14 in 2011, although he lost to <a rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sherdog.com\/fighter\/John-Dodson-11660\">John Dodson<\/a><br \/>\nin the finale. Dillashaw explained that \u201cTUF\u201d fighters were<br \/>\nonboarded with a $10,000 to show and $10,000 to win contract, which<br \/>\ngot upgraded every three wins. Dillashaw was glad to tear apart his<br \/>\n\u201cTUF\u201d contract after dethroning Barao as his stardom skyrocketed<br \/>\novernight.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u2018I Shocked the World\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cMy life changed completely after beating Barao,\u201d Dillashaw said on<br \/>\n<a rel=\"noopener nofollow noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/AAjGvUYuHB8?si=mywMGfoOtKbuJexT&amp;t=1278\">&#8220;The Jaxxon Podcast\u201d<\/a> \u201cI was on \u2018The Ultimate<br \/>\nFighter\u2019 contract. I was fighting for a world title for $18,000.<br \/>\nWhen I got to rip that contract\u2026 You\u2019re on a 10-fight contract when<br \/>\nyou get on from \u2018The Ultimate Fighter,\u2019 and you start off at 10\/10,<br \/>\nafter three wins you go 14\/14, after three wins you go 18\/18. So I<br \/>\nwas getting $18,000 to show, $18,000 to win against the best<br \/>\npound-for-pound fighter in the world. And I shocked the world\u2026 Just<br \/>\nchanged my life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dillashaw had two bantamweight title reigns in the UFC.
