Chimaev recently came across T.J.
\nDillashaw<\/a> and Demetrious
\nJohnson<\/a> while they were filming for the “Jaxxon Podcast\u201d<\/a> at their training facility in
\nNewport Beach, California. Jaxxon\u2019s Chief Marketing Officer, Bear
\nDegidio, lauded all three fighters as \u201cthree of the
\nUFC<\/a>\u2019s greatest champs.\u201d However, Chimaev humbly refused to be
\nput in the same league as Dillashaw and Johnson. Chimaev noted that
\nwhile he has only one title win, Johnson (15) and Dillashaw (5)
\nhave won 20 title fights between them.<\/p>\n

Johnson is considered one of the greatest fighters to ever grace
\nthe sport, who has most consecutive title defenses in UFC history.
\nThe latest UFC Hall of Fame inductee also went on to have a stellar
\ncareer at ONE
\nChampionship<\/a> after parting ways with the UFC. Meanwhile,
\nDillashaw\u2019s status as one of the greatest bantamweights of all time
\nis marred by PED violations. <\/p>\n

Chimaev always seemed destined for greatness, although he took more
\ntime than expected to become a UFC champion due to various reasons.
\n\u201cBorz\u201d dominantly dethroned Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> to win the middleweight title at
\nUFC 319<\/a> last year. Chimaev is now scheduled to defend his title
\nagainst Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> at UFC 328<\/a>
