Demetrious
\nJohnson<\/a> believes there\u2019s nothing left for Israel
\nAdesanya<\/a> to achieve in MMA. <\/p>\n

Johnson (24-6)  was in attendance when his friend Adesanya
\ntook on Joe Pyfer<\/a> at
\n
\nUFC Seattle<\/a> last weekend. It was hard for \u201cMighty Mouse\u201d to see
\nAdesanya suffer a second-round technical knockout loss against
\nPyfer. Adesanya even congratulated Johnson on his Hall of Fame
\ninduction after the fight.  Adesanya has now dropped four in a
\nrow since reclaiming his middleweight title in a rematch against
\nAlex
\nPereira<\/a> in 2022. <\/p>\n

Johnson would like to see Adesanya hang up his gloves for good.
\nJohnson notes that Adesanya has already scaled heights in the sport
\nthat most only dream of. Additionally, \u201cThe Last Stylebender\u201d has
\nhad an illustrious career in kickboxing before transitioning to
\nMMA. Johnson believes Adesanya now deserves to ride off into the
\nsunset.<\/p>\n

\u2018He\u2019s Done Everything\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cI was just gutted\u2026 You\u2019ve done everything, just walk away from the
\nsport\u2026 I would [retire] if I was him\u2026 I would like to see him
\nretire,\u201d Johnson said on “The Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a> \u201cThere\u2019s nothing else
\nleft for him to do in mixed martial arts. I think he\u2019s done
\neverything, not even considering the number of kickboxing matches
\nhe\u2019s had as well. The man\u2019s been on a tear, on a grind. I think he
\ndeserves to relax and enjoy himself and find something else.\u201d<\/p>\n

Johnson further recalled the recently retired Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a>‘s words, who said that multiple avenues have opened up
\nsince his retirement. Johnson believes Adesanya can occupy himself
\nwith multiple business ventures post-retirement. Johnson is also
\ninvolved in various businesses and doesn\u2019t want to compete in RAF
\nwrestling.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s like Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> \u2013 now that he\u2019s retired, he\u2019s finding all these things
\nhe can actually say yes to that he couldn\u2019t before,\u201d Johnson said.
\n\u201c\u2026 People are like, ‘Man, you should come wrestle for Real American
\nFreestyle!’ Why? This [business] stuff is way more important than
\ncompeting.\u201d <\/p>\n
