\nAlmabayev<\/a> in a flyweight tilt at UFC
\nBaku<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The booking was first reported<\/a> by Leo Guimaraes. UFC Baku takes place
\non June 27 at Baku Crystal Hall in Baku, Azerbaijan and also
\nincludes a middleweight showdown pitting Sharabutdin
\nMagomedov<\/a> against Michel
\nPereira<\/a>. A headliner for the event has not been confirmed.<\/p>\n

Johnson has been active already in 2026. \u201cInnerG\u201d kicked off his
\ncampaign at UFC 324, where he suffered a first-round knockout loss
\nto Alex
\nPerez<\/a>. He bounced back at UFC Fight Night 269, taking a split
\nverdict over Bruno
\nSilva<\/a>. The 35-year-old also has notable wins over the likes of
\nLone\u2019er Kavanagh and Joshua Van<\/a>
\nin UFC competition. Johnson called out Almabayev following his
\ntriumph against Silva.<\/p>\n

Almabayev has been victorious in six of his seven Octagon
\nappearances. In his last outing, Almabayev scored a third-round
\nsubmission of Perez at UFC Qatar. The 32-year-old Kazakhstan native
\nwas slated to face Brandon
\nMoreno<\/a> in the UFC Mexico headliner on Feb. 28 before
