\nLewis<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Fortune made his debut against Marcin
\nTybura<\/a> at
\nUFC Seattle<\/a> on Saturday. Fortune stepped in on two weeks\u2019
\nnotice after Tybura\u2019s original opponent, Valter
\nWalker<\/a>, pulled out. Fortune clearly outclassed the veteran on
\nthe feet, although he couldn\u2019t secure a finish. However, the scores
\nwere initially read out in favor of Tybura, as an angry Fortune
\nmarched out of the Octagon. Bruce Buffer then returned to the
\nOctagon and corrected himself, announcing Fortune the winner via
\nunanimous decision. <\/p>\n

Fortune believes he could have done better against Tybura with a
\nfull camp. The 35-year-old vows to show a different version of
\nhimself in his next outing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just a little frustrated with myself that I didn\u2019t get the
\nperformance I knew I could,\u201d Fortune said in a post-fight interview
\nwith the UFC. \u201cSome of the positions I should have probably
\ndisengaged and threw a little bit more like my coach was asking. So
\nit was a little upsetting getting out of the Octagon, feeling like
\nI lost. And then having to come back in and getting my hand raised
\nmade everything feel right\u2026 My performance will be better next
\ntime. I will be more prepared, I will be ready. This was two weeks\u2019
\nnotice. So be prepared for me to look a lot different in my next
\nfight.\u201d <\/p>\n

Retirement Party<\/h2>\n

Fortune also called out Lewis, offering to retire him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll take Derrick
\nLewis<\/a>, I\u2019m the retirement party,\u201d he said. \u201cWe can take him out
\nin Houston or wherever they want. I can knock him out.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fortune (18-3) was on a three-fight finishing streak on the
\nregional circuit going into his UFC debut. Meanwhile, Lewis (29-13)
\nis coming off a technical knockout loss against Fortune\u2019s teammate,
\nCortes-Acosta. \u201cThe Black Beast\u201d was on a two-fight finishing
\nstreak before falling to Cortes-Acosta. <\/p>\n
