Chael
\nSonnen<\/a> is worried about Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> being caught in the crossfire between Dana White and
\nEddie Hearn. <\/p>\n

Aspinall\u2019s relationship with White has been strained since his
\nfirst heavyweight title defense against Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nat UFC 320<\/a>
\nthis past October. The fight ended in a no contest after Gane eye
\npoked Aspinall, leaving him unable to continue. Dana White hinted
\nthat he was unimpressed by Aspinall\u2019s decision to stop fighting,
\nsaying that the Englishman didn\u2019t look like he wanted to be in
\nthere with Gane. Aspinall didn\u2019t hide his disappointment with
\nWhite\u2019s comments. While Aspinall underwent multiple surgeries,
\nWhite further downplayed the injury, saying they were likely
\ninjections. <\/p>\n

Aspinall (15-3) recently escalated things by signing with the
\nmanagement of Eddie Hearn, considered a longtime rival of White.
\nHearn has since taken multiple digs at Aspinall\u2019s
\nUFC<\/a> contract, calling it a disgrace. Sonnen says he was
\nsupporting Aspinall when \u201cHoney Badger\u201d was calling for Jon Jones<\/a> to
\nbe stripped of the heavyweight title due to inactivity. However,
\nSonnen now sees Aspinall stalling the division by reconsidering his
\ncontract with the UFC. The UFC alum is concerned about Aspinall
\nbeing used in the spat between White and Hearn.<\/p>\n

\u2018If You Want to Make Money, Fight\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cOne year ago, Tom was saying things like, \u2018I\u2019m the active
\nchampion. I don\u2019t care about Jon Jones<\/a>. I
\njust care about the belt. If you can\u2019t get him to the ring, take
\nthe belt off, give it to me.\u2019 We all supported that because Tom was
\ncompletely correct,\u201d Sonnen told Helen Yee<\/a>. \u201cAnd now one year later Tom is
\nthe one that appears to be holding out. Tom is the one to be
\nsaying, \u2018Oh, I gotta sit down and re-look at these contracts.\u2019 I
\ndon\u2019t blame this one Tom, this is the nature of the business. But I
\ndo fear that Tom is being used in a public fight between Eddie and
\nDana. And I don\u2019t want Tom used like that. If you want to make
\nmoney, fight.\u201d
