\ninvolved in a brief confrontation with a fellow motorist following
\nan alleged road rage incident in Albuquerque, New Mexico.<\/p>\n

According to an Instagram post<\/a> by Bryan Beltran, he was \u201calmost hit
\nthree times\u201d in a truck driven by Jones. Beltran claims he then
\n\u201cflipped him off\u201d before Jones followed him into a parking lot and
\nconfronted him.<\/p>\n

A video shows that brief interaction, as Jones approaches Beltran
\nwith his left hand in his pocket. Beltran wrote that he wasn\u2019t
\naware it was Jones until the fighter got out of his vehicle.<\/p>\n

“You gotta calm down, bro. You gotta relax yourself, bro,\u201d Jones
\nsays before flipping off Beltran and walking away.<\/p>\n

Driving up Central close to Eubank when i was almost hit 3 times
\nby the truck even after i revved my car at him the first time it
\nalmost happened he still almost hit me twice after that so I
\nflipped him off then he proceeded to stop in the middle of the road
\nback up and come into the same parking lot.<\/i><\/p>\n

The night before another guy in a truck pulled out infront me so
\nthis was pretty annoying considering it was the second time a guy
\nin a truck cant drive\u2026i guess those are ABQ drivers for you stay
\nsafe.<\/p>\n

Btw i know its John Jones i didn\u2019t know who it was when i flipped
\nhim off but definitely realized who it was quick! no hate or hard
\nfeelings towards my guy John but i think he might need to take some
\ndriving classes cause he almost him multiple times. Hopefully soon
\ni make another video where we can maybe shake hands and \u201csquash the
\nbeef\u201d lol.<\/p>\n

Edit: All of you with John\u2019s meat in your mouth relax, it ain\u2019t
\nthat deep. I know he was a world champion, and no, I don\u2019t think I
\ncould beat him in a fight lol. But like I said, he should still be
\nmore careful. Being famous or trained doesn\u2019t matter when it comes
\nto someone pulling a trigger. Anything can happen. And like I said,
\nI don\u2019t carry and didn\u2019t try anything, so I\u2019m not someone to worry

Jones has a long history of run-ins with the law, including a
\nnumber of vehicle-related incidents. Most recently, Jones faced a
\nmisdemeanor charge<\/a> of leaving the scene of an
\naccident in Albuquerque in February 2025. Criminal charges in that
\ncase were eventually dismissed. Jones also famously
\npleaded guilty<\/a> to fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run accident
\nin April 2015, which led to him being suspended by the UFC and
\nstripped of his light heavyweight title. He did not do jail time
\nfor the offense.<\/p>\n

Jones ended a brief retirement in hopes of being on the UFC White
\nHouse card on June 14. However, \u201cBones\u201d and the promotion
\nreportedly did not come to terms on a deal for him to fight at the
\nevent, so it is currently unclear if he will compete in the Octagon
