Gore (6-4) took on Azamat
\nBekoev<\/a> (20-5) in a middleweight outing at
\nUFC Fight Night 272<\/a>. The fight was a closely-contested affair
\nfor the most part until Bekoev appeared visibly exhausted in the
\nlast round. Gore snapped in a sneaky guillotine choke and choked
\nhis opponent out to secure the win in the final round. <\/p>\n

Gore trains with veteran
\nUFC<\/a> middleweight contender Cannonier at the MMA Lab in Phoenix,
\nArizona. \u201cMr. Vicious\u201d revealed that Cannonier taught him a
\nspecific \u201cbubble fighting\u201d style, which he expects to be out on DVD
\nsomeday. Gore explains that the style is based on imaginary bubbles
\naround a fighter and their opponent, with the focus being on
\nmaintaining range. Gore credits his submission win over Bekoev to
\nthe Cannonier\u2019s bubble-fighting lessons.<\/p>\n

A Helpful Technique<\/h2>\n

\u201cWorking with people like Cannonier \u2013 he helped me to realize the
\ndangers that are there,\u201d Gore said in a post-fight interview. \u201cHe\u2019s
\ntaught me how to bubble-fight. I\u2019ll tell you right now, one day
\nhe\u2019s gonna have a DVD out called bubble fighting. Pretty much
\nmeaning \u2013 there\u2019s a bubble around me, there\u2019s a bubble around my
\nopponent. Know your distance, know where you\u2019re at. And today I
\nused the system that he showed me.\u201d <\/p>\n

Gore is now 3-4 in the
\nUFC<\/a>, with all of his wins coming by guillotine submissions.
\nMeanwhile, Bekoev is on a two-fight slump and 2-2 in the
\nUFC. <\/p>\n
