Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> is oozing confidence as usual. <\/p>\n

Chimaev dethroned Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> to win the middlweight title at
\nUFC 319<\/a> last year. While some expected it to be close contest,
\nChimaev dominated Du Plessis for five rounds to earn a unanimous
\ndecision win. \u201cBorz\u201d was extremely confident going into his title
\nfight against the South African. Chimaev explains that he doesn\u2019t
\nlike to accept fights that he thinks he won\u2019t win. And Chimaev
\ncurrently believes he can win all potential fights that are on
\noffer. The undefeated Chechen-born doesn\u2019t think it\u2019s a big deal to
\nbeat up just one opponent inside the Octagon.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, I don\u2019t like to start things where I can\u2019t win,\u201d Chimaev
\nsaid on the \u201dBeyond the Win\u201d podcast.<\/a>. \u201cThese fights, I can
\nwin. That\u2019s why \u2013 I know I can win the fight, I go in excited,
\nhappy. It\u2019s only one guy against you. It\u2019s not that big thing to
\nbeat him up.\u201d <\/p>\n

No Fear<\/h2>\n

Chimaev (15-0) puts his title on the line against Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> (30-7) in the main event at UFC 328<\/a>
\non May 9 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. While
\nChimaev is a massive favorite, some fans and pundits believe
\nStrickland has a chance with his exemplary takedown defense.
\nHowever, Chimaev doesn\u2019t see anyone as a threat. Chimaev says that
\nwhile his opponents are also humans, they are not like him.
\nAccording to Chimaev, he has something different which his
\nopponents realize inside the Octagon. The UFC middleweight champ
\nderives pleasure from beating up his opponents to cash fat
\npaychecks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy should I fear somebody?\u201d Chimaev said. \u201cHe has two legs, two
\nhands, one head\u2026 Not like me. They know. Who fought against me,
\nthey feel it. I don\u2019t care about these guys, anyone. If I see the
\nbody in the cage, it makes me happy. Because if I beat him up, I
\ncan take a couple of millions home.\u201d<\/p>\n
