\nProchazka<\/a> doesn\u2019t mind Magomed
\nAnkalaev<\/a> being excluded from the light heavyweight title
\npicture. <\/p>\n

Former champion Alex
\nPereira<\/a> recently vacated the light heavyweight title and moved
\nup to heavyweight. Pereira is now scheduled to fight Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nfor the interim heavyweight title at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. <\/p>\n

With Pereira out of the picture, many expected Magomed
\nAnkalaev<\/a> to evidently get a shot at the vacant light
\nheavyweight title. However, despite being the only man to beat
\nPereira at light heavyweight, Ankalaev has been excluded from the
\nupcoming title fight. Prochazka is now scheduled to fight Carlos
\nUlberg<\/a> in the main event at UFC 327<\/a>
\non Aprill 11 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. <\/p>\n

\u2018Not Just Like That\u2019<\/h2>\n

Prochazka believes Ankalaev didn\u2019t deserve a shot at the light
\nheavyweight title after his last loss against Pereira. Prochazka
\nbelieves the former champion has to build his way back into the
\ntitle picture.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think after his last performance, he has to prove that he is
\nable to be the best,\u201d Prochazka told New York Post Sports<\/a>. \u201cNot just like
\nthat.\u201d <\/p>\n

Ankalaev (20-2) dominantly Pereira (13-3) on the ground for five
\nrounds to win the light heavyweight title in their first meeting at
\nUFC 313 last year. However, Pereira exacted revenge in their
\nrematch, knocking out Ankalaev in just 80 seconds at UFC 320.
\nAnkalaev\u2019s loss against Pereira was his first since his only other
\ncareer loss in his UFC debut in 2018.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Prochazka (32-5) has been stopped in two title fights
\nagainst Pereira. However, \u201cBJP\u201d has rebounded with finishes over
\nJamahal
\nHill<\/a> and Khalil
\nRountree<\/a> since his last loss against Pereira. Meanwhile, Ulberg
\n(13-1) is on a nine-fight winning streak with six finishes since
\nhis lone career loss in his UFC debut in 2021. <\/p>\n
