Dominick
\nReyes<\/a> sees an upside to fighting on the same card that has a
\ntitle fight. <\/p>\n

Reyes (15-5) is scheduled to fight fellow veteran Johnny
\nWalker<\/a> (22-9) in a light heavyweight matchup at UFC 327<\/a>
\non Saturday at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida. Meanwhile,
\nJiri
\nProchazka<\/a> and Carlos
\nUlberg<\/a> will fight for the vacant light heavyweight title in the
\nmain event of the same card. <\/p>\n

Reyes believes there is an advantage of fighting on the same card
\nwhere the title is on the line. According to \u201cThe Devastator,\u201d we
\nlive in a world of recency bias. Reyes believes a highlight-reel
\nwin over Walker will make him relevant in the title picture since
\nthe title goes on the line just a couple of fights later.<\/p>\n

Planning to Put on a Show<\/h2>\n

\u201cI win this fight, I would have won four of my last five, so it\u2019s
\npretty damn good,\u201d Reyes told MMAjunkie.com<\/a>. \u201cThe cool thing about fighting
\non the title fight card is a relevancy thing. We live in a world
\nof, \u2018What have you done for me lately?\u2019 And everything\u2019s kind of
\nshort-term memory. So I go out there and put on a hell of show
\nagainst Johnny and the main event is a couple of fights later. I\u2019ll
\nbe in the conversation. Whether I have to fight one more time or
\nwhatever, I\u2019m relevant.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reyes posed the toughest challenge to Jon Jones<\/a>
\nwhile dropping a highly controversial decision in a title bid in
\n2020. Reyes then suffered three more losses in a row. However,
\nReyes seemingly found the proverbial second win in his career with
\nthree consecutive finishes from 2024 to 2025. Reyes\u2019 winning streak
\nwas snapped by a first round knockout loss against Ulberg last
\nyear. Meanwhile, Walker is coming off an upset stoppage win against
\nMingyang
\nZhang<\/a> that saw him rebound from back-to-back losses. <\/p>\n
