Jon

While Jones (28-1) was teasing a return to fighting until recently,
\nthe former
\nUFC<\/a> double champ is no longer considering it. \u201cBones\u201d recently
\nconfirmed that he is now focused on his business ventures and won\u2019t
\nfight again.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo bare-knuckle. My gloves are hung up,\u201d Jones said<\/a> at an IBA bare-knuckle boxing event in
\nRussia last month. \u201cI\u2019m chilling these days. You got business

\nbusinessman.\u201d <\/p>\n

Jones initially returned to action after a three-year hiatus in
\n2023 and made quick work of Ciryl Gane<\/a>
\nto win the UFC heavyweight title. Jones then insisted on defending
\nthe title against Stipe
\nMiocic<\/a> despite Tom
\nAspinall<\/a> being the interim champ. Jones successfully defended
\nthe title against Miocic in 2024 and stalled the division,
\ncontinuing to avoid Aspinall.<\/p>\n

Failed Bid for the White House<\/h2>\n

While Dana White kept promising that Jones would fight Aspinall,
\n\u201cBones\u201d abruptly retired in June 2025. However, Jones returned to
\nthe testing pool and started rallying for a spot on the
\nUFC White House<\/a> card as soon as it was first mentioned. Despite
\nhis best efforts, Jones failed to land a spot on the White House
\ncard, which was officially announced last month. While White said
\nthat Jones was never part of the plan for the White House, \u201cBones\u201d
\nhinted that the UFC was in negotiations with him. Jones has since
\npublicly asked for his UFC release.
