Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a>\u2019s son is a curious learner. <\/p>\n

Topuria recently boasted about his son\u2019s fighting skills. However,
\nthe
\nUFC<\/a> double champion claims he has never formally trained his
\nson. Topuria just brings his son to the gym and asks him to figure
\nthings out by watching. Topuria claims his son is inquisitive
\nenough to pursue him and other coaches for lessons. Topuria doesn\u2019t
\nwant to pressure his son to choose any particular career. While \u201cEl
\nMatador\u201d will support his son if he wants to fight, the undefeated
\nGeorgian-Spaniard most importantly wants him to have a purpose in
\nlife.<\/p>\n

Finding a Purpose<\/h2>\n

\u201cYou have to see my son. You don\u2019t know how good he is,\u201d Topuria
\ntold Adam Catteral. \u201cIn my life, I never teach him anything.
\nEverything he knows is because he saw it. I never ever put him in a
\nclass. Come [to the gym] and do something. He is the one who\u2019s
\nalways asking me and the coaches. When we finish training, he goes,
\n\u2018Hey, do you mind to be with me and teach me something?\u2019… If he
\nwants to fight, I\u2019m gonna go with it. Whatever you want to do, do
\nit. For me the most important thing is that I want him to feel
\nhappy and realize that he some purpose in this life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Topuria (17-0) is currently one of the biggest stars in MMA.
\nTopuria won the UFC featherweight title against Alexander
\nVolkanovski<\/a> and defended it against Max
\nHolloway<\/a> before moving up. Topuria then won the lightweight
\ntitle against Charles
\nOliveira<\/a>. Topuria is now scheduled to defend his title against
\ninterim champion Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14.  <\/p>\n
