According to
\nKings MMA<\/a> founder, Costa should stay in the light heavyweight
\ndivision following his third-round stoppage of the previously
\nundefeated Azamat
\nMurzakanov<\/a> this past Saturday at the Kaseya Center in
\nMiami.<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018Borrachinha\u2019 is a guy that, love him or hate him, you will like
\nto see his fights. And give me three names of the division that
\nsell fights like him,\u201d Cordeiro told Sherdog.com.<\/p>\n

Based on his performance last Saturday, where he knocked out
\nMurzakanov with a head kick in the third round, the former Chute
\nBoxer believes that Costa would also beat Jiri
\nProchazka<\/a> if he was fighting for the interim title. Prochazka
\nsuffered a first-round knockout loss to Carlos
\nUlberg<\/a> in clash for the vacant light heavyweight strap at UFC
\n327. However, Ulberg could be sidelined for quite some time after
\nsuffering an apparent knee injury in the bout.<\/p>\n

\u201cI see him [being competitive] with any of those Top 5 of the
\ndivision. To tell you the truth, considering that Ulberg will be
\nout for a long time due to his knee, if UFC makes a interim title
\nbetween \u2018Borrachinha \u2018and Jiri, I believe Costa would knock him
\nout.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Brazilian coach also criticized Prochazka\u2019s attitude against
\nUlberg. \u201cBJP\u201d claimed he showed mercy to Ulberg after the City
\nKickboxing star was injured early in their fight.<\/p>\n

“I\u00b4ll never forget what Master Rudimar always told us. If you are
\nfacing a weaker opponent, finish him as fast as possible so the
\npeople dont see his level,\u201d Cordeiro said. \u201cAnd it fits perfectly
\nin this case when the oponent had a physical problem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cordeiro also talked about the Mike Tyson exhibition fight with
\nFloyd
\nMayweather<\/a> initially scheduled for April 25.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt should be an exhibition fight. But Mike had a home accident, He
\ntripped and fell and was in a cast lately. He was planning to make
\nhis camp in Florida but because of that accident I think the fight
\nwill be postponed,\u201d Cordeiro said. \u201cUnfortunately I couldn’t do
\nthis camp with him because of my gym. Last time I stayed seven
\nmonths with him in Vegas, but I could return. In Florida
\nunfortunately not, but I told him to count on me with anything he
\nneeds.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cordeiro also shared details of a new mentoring class he has just
\nstarted.<\/p>\n
