\nTsarukyan<\/a> just cannot seem to avoid making headlines wherever
\nhe goes.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Russian journalist Adam
\nZubayraev<\/a> posted a video purportedly showing Tsarukyan\u2019s
\nejection from an American Airlines commercial aircraft. Per
\nZubayraev, he and two friends\u2014American Airlines later noted four
\nindividuals were involved\u2014were forced to disembark the flight
\nbefore departure. The initial reason given was that Tsarukyan would
\nnot get off his phone during the takeoff procedure, despite the
\nairline staff telling all fliers that they must disable all
\nelectronic devices or place them on airplane mode.<\/p>\n

Tsarukyan and his team were en route from Los Angeles to
\nPhiladelphia. The fighter still plans on headlining Real American
\nFreestyle 8, the professional wrestling organization which has
\ngained crossover interest from athletes domestic and abroad.
\nTsarukyan will be wrestling Urijah Faber<\/a>
\nin their main attraction on Saturday at The Liacouras Center in
\n\u201cThe City of Brotherly Love.\u201d They have since hopped on a private
\njet, with the athlete posting a video<\/a>
\nand saying, \u201cI hope they\u2019re not going to kick me out of this
\nplane.\u201d<\/p>\n

Safety first<\/h2>\n

Since the video of Tsarukyan\u2019s ejection made headlines, American
\nAirlines has released a statement regarding the incident. They
\nprovided this statement to
\nMMA Fighting<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn April 16, American Airlines flight 513 returned to the gate at
\nLos Angeles International Airport (LAX) for customers who refused
\nto follow federal regulations. Safety is our top priority and we
\nexpect our customers to comply with crew member instructions while
\non board our aircraft, which include staying seated while the
\naircraft is taxiing,\u201d the airliner wrote.<\/p>\n

Per the airline, it was not that Tsarukyan was on his phone, but
\nrather that he or member of his crew stood around in the aisle as
\nthe plane was taxiing down the runway. Reportedly, they refused to
\nsit down, resulting in crew having to get involved as they drove
\nthe plane back to the gate to throw them off.<\/p>\n
