\nHerbert<\/a> believes his will to win made all the difference at
\nUFC
\nWinnipeg<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Herbert (14-6) took on promising debutant Mandel
\nNallo<\/a> (14-4) in a lightweight clash at Canada Life Center in
\nWinnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, on Saturday. Nallo hurt Herbert early
\non with head kicks, even partially dropping him with a right hand.
\nHowever, Herbert survived the onslaught and returned favour by
\ndropping the Canadian with a right hand. While Nallo managed to
\nreturn to his feet, \u201cThe Black Country Banger\u201d dropped him again
\nwith a clean combination and rained brutal ground-and-pound to
\nsecure the finish. <\/p>\n

Herbert admits that his game plan went out of the window in the
\nwild affair that lasted barely over two minutes. Herbert claims he
\nhad decided to win when he entered the Octagon against Nallo. Even
\nwhen Nallo hurt Herbert early, the Englishman knew he would come
\nfrom behind and get the win unless he was knocked out cold.<\/p>\n

\u2018I Just Had the Will\u2019<\/h2>\n

\u201cI have never had a fight like that before, crazy fight,\u201d Herbert
\ntold the UFC. \u201cI got dropped like three times. I got dropped about
\nthree times, come back and got a win\u2026 Game plan went out of the
\nwindow. What was in my head was, \u2018I have come here to get a win.\u2019
\nSo when he was hitting me, I just knew I was gonna go and get a
\nwin. I was waiting for my opportunity, I cracked him and he went. I
\nstill had my wits about me when he was hitting me. But I just had
\nthe will. I made a decision when I got in there, I was gonna win.
\nSo when he hit me and kept on dropping me, he had to put me clean
\nout, because if he didn\u2019t put me clean out, I was gonna come back
\nand get a win.\u201d<\/p>\n

Herbert is now 2-2 in his last four outings and rebounded from a
\nsplit decision loss against Chris
\nPadilla<\/a> with the win over Nallo.  <\/p>\n
