After Lorenz
\nLarkin<\/a> withdrew from the event due to injury, Jefferson
\nCreighton<\/a> will step in and face Jackson at
\nMVP “Rousey vs. Carano”<\/a> on May 16 at the Intuit Dome in Los
\nAngeles. The promotion announced the new booking on Monday.<\/p>\n

MVP \u201cRousey vs. Carano\u201d airs on Netflix and is headlined by a
\nfive-round featherweight showdown between Ronda
\nRousey<\/a> and Gina Carano<\/a>.
\nOther featured contests include a heavyweight matchup pitting
\nFrancis
\nNgannou<\/a> against Philipe
\nLins<\/a> and a welterweight scrap between Nate Diaz<\/a> and
\nMike
\nPerry<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Plenty of Momentum<\/h2>\n

Creighton will take a seven-bout winning streak into the matchup
\nwith Jackson. Most recently, the Poway, California, native defeated
\nDiego
\nBianchini<\/a> via unanimous decision at LFA 223 this past November.
\nDuring his current run, Creighton has also won titles in Melee
\nCombat Championship and Urijah Faber<\/a>
\nA1 Combat. Last year, Creighton competed on Season 33 of \u201cThe
\nUltimate Fighter,\u201d where he bested Andreeas
\nBinder<\/a> before falling to Rodrigo
\nSezinando<\/a> in the semifinals. A former Bellator
\nMMA<\/a> title holder, the 35-year-old Jackson last appeared in the
\nsemifinals of the
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> welterweight tournament, where he
\ndropped a split decision to eventual champion Thad Jean<\/a>
\nlast June.
