\nPimblett<\/a> has learned a lot from his loss against Justin
\nGaethje<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Pimblett took on Gaethje for the interim lightweight title at
\nUFC
\n324<\/a> this past January. While Gaethje put a beating on Pimblett,
\n\u201cThe Baddy\u201d showed grit and heart in refusing to go down. Gaethje
\neventually earned a unanimous decision win, handing Pimblett his
\nfirst
\nUFC<\/a> loss. Pimblett believes he learned more from the loss
\nagainst Gaethje than he did from his unbeaten seven-fight run in
\nthe UFC. Pimblett is now returning for revenge and hopes to get a
\nfuture rematch against Gaethje. While Pimblett respects Gaethje, he
\nalso recalls \u201cThe Highlight\u201d poking him in the eye.<\/p>\n

Destiny Awaits<\/h2>\n

\u201cI\u2019m coming back for revenge… Everyone loses, and that\u2019s how you
\nlearn, that\u2019s how you get better,\u201d Pimblett told iFL TV<\/a>. \u201cI probably learned more from
\nlosing that fight than winning seven other UFC fights. But I will
\nbe back better and stronger. It\u2019s in me destiny that I\u2019m gonna be
\nworld champion of the world. At some point in your career you need
\na loss to realize stuff. I think it was that point in my career. I
\nhope I get the rematch with Gaethje. I\u2019ve got nothing but respect
\nfor him, but he\u2019s just a dirty bastard poking me in the eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Many didn\u2019t deem Pimblett (23-4) deserving of an interim title
\nshot, as Arman
\nTsarukyan<\/a> was the clear No.1 contender. While Pimblett is one
\nof the fastest rising stars in the sport, he is now considerably
\nfurther away from the lightweight title picture following the loss
\nagainst Gaethje. The Liverpudlian recently said that he is set to
\nreturn during the International Fight Week in July. Meanwhile,
\nGaethje (27-5) will look to unify the title against the champion
\nIlia
\nTopuria<\/a> (17-0) on June 14 at the White House. <\/p>\n
