\nTsarukyan<\/a> as a potential opponent. <\/p>\n

Topuria (17-0) is scheduled to defend his lightweight title against
\ninterim champion Justin
\nGaethje<\/a> (27-5) in the main event at
\nUFC White House<\/a> on June 14. Meanwhile, the widely considered
\nrightful title contender Tsarukyan has been left out of the title
\nmix. <\/p>\n

However, Topuria has always shrugged off Tsarukyan as a potential
\nthreat. \u201cEl Matador\u201d recently went off on Tsarukyan\u2019s antics
\noutside the Octagon. Tsarukyan is often seen flying in private jets
\nand having expensive feasts. However, Topuria believes
\n\u201cAhalkalakets\u201d is projecting a lavish life off of his father\u2019s
\nmoney. Topuria believes Tsarukyan is yet to mature as a person.<\/p>\n

Childish Mentality<\/h2>\n

\u201cI\u2019m really impressed with how dumb he is,\u201d Topuria said on
\n“The Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d<\/a> \u201cHe\u2019s a retard. He
\nlooks like a kid. His mentality, he is dumb as f\u2014k. Everything that
\nI saw about him on the internet is embarrassing, a little bit\u2026 The
\nthing that I don\u2019t like is they play rich and they show all that
\nmoney. And it\u2019s like, bro, you\u2019re not even rich. You\u2019re that poor
\nthat the only thing that you have is money. And you\u2019re spending
\nyour father\u2019s money, not even yours. He\u2019s a f\u2014-ing kid.\u201d <\/p>\n

Tsarukyan (23-3) was originally scheduled to challenge Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a> for the lightweight title last year. However,
\nTsarukyan pulled out a day before the fight due to an injury, which
\nhas cost him heavily. The
\nUFC<\/a> made sure Tsarukyan was sidelined when Makhachev moved up
\nto welterweight. Meanwhile, Topuria went on to win the vacant title
\nagainst Charles
\nOliveira<\/a>. While Tsarukyan started calling for a title shot
\nagainst Topuria, the undefeated Georgian-Spaniard clearly expressed
\nhis preference for fighting Paddy
\nPimblett<\/a> instead. Many believed Tsarukyan would have secured a
\ntitle shot when he finished Dan Hooker<\/a>
\nthis past November. However, when Topuria took a short hiatus,
\nPimblett and Gaethje got a shot at the interim title. Tsarukyan has
\nbeen keeping himself busy in wrestling competitions as he continues
\ngetting snubbed for a UFC title shot. <\/p>\n
