Renato “Moicano” Carneiro<\/a> is not a fan of the
\nUFC<\/a> using artificial intelligence for promotional
\nvideos. <\/p>\n

As AI takes over various forms of content across different spheres,
\nthe UFC also hasn\u2019t been spared from its influence. The UFC has
\nrecently faced backlash from fans over use of AI in their
\ncontent. <\/p>\n

\u201cMoicano\u201d is also critical of the UFC about using AI for
\npromotional content. Being a fan himself, the UFC lightweight
\nthinks it’s disrespectful to fans, who can clearly see through the
\nlack of effort. With two of the UFC\u2019s biggest stars, Alex
\nPereira<\/a> and Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a>, set to compete at the White House in June, \u201cMoicano\u201d
\ndoesn\u2019t think it should be a big deal to fly them down to
\nWashington to shoot some content. While Carneiro is also a content
\ncreator, he tries to avoid the use of AI as he considers it \u201cbrain
\nrot.\u201d<\/p>\n

A Sign of Disrespect<\/h2>\n

\u201cUFC is not going to be very happy for me to say that, but I didn\u2019t
\nlike it,\u201d Carneiro said on \u201cThe Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d \u201cI think
\nthat\u2019s disrespectful towards the fans, because I am a fan myself.
\nIf you can\u2019t put Alex
\nPereira<\/a> or Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a> on a airplane and put them in Washington in front of
\nthe White House, I don\u2019t think that\u2019s good. I think that\u2019s sloppy.
\nI don\u2019t like to use AI in my stuff. I\u2019m not saying AI doesn\u2019t help,
\nsome stuff I use AI. But not for content. Because I think people
\ncan see that\u2019s just sloppy. That\u2019s brain rot.\u201d<\/p>\n

Carneiro\u2019s take on the UFC\u2019s use of AI is unlikely to sit well with
\nDana White. When recently confronted<\/a> about the use of AI at a press conference,
\nWhite said: \u201cWho gives a -ts-?\u2026 How about this? Shut the f\u2014k up and
\nwatch the fights.\u201d<\/p>\n
