\non Jan. 24. As a result of the fouls, Namajunas had to have a
\nsilicone tube inserted in her eye for approximately three
\nmonths.<\/p>\n

A Modest Proposal<\/h2>\n

In a post on Instagram, Namajunas revealed that she has been
\ncleared to train while proposing that eye pokes lead to an \u201cinstant
\npurse deduction in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you wanna be a fighter? Three months and now I\u2019m healthy
\nfinally,\u201d Namajunas wrote. \u201cThumb and eye are all fixed up. Im a
\nbit out of shape but I\u2019m cleared to train now. I really hope eye
\npokes will be taken more seriously in the future. I propose instant
\npurse deduction even for an accident. An accident that could
\nseriously affect a fighter\u2019s health long term. Anyways I\u2019m just
\ngrateful that it was not more serious.\u201d<\/p>\n

A two-time 115-pound champion, Namajunas is 3-3 in UFC competition
\nsince moving up to the flyweight divison. \u201cThug\u201d Rose has bested
\nthe likes of Amanda
\nRibas<\/a>, Tracy
\nCortez<\/a> and Miranda
\nMaverick<\/a> at 125 pounds while coming up short against Manon
