\nUFC Vegas 116<\/a> weigh-ins were little more than a formality as
\nall 26 athletes properly made weight.<\/p>\n

Former
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> bantamweight champion Aljamain
\nSterling<\/a> will return to the Octagon this Saturday. Taking on “Funk Master” in the five-round headliner is Youssef
\nZalal<\/a>. Both men successfully made the featherweight limit
\nwithout issue. All other fighters on the card also hit their marks,
\nso UFC Fight Night 274 will move forward with 13 official matches.
\nAs a note, Nevada decided to change its weigh-in policies once
\nagain, allowing for a two-hour weigh-in window for this event and
\nall events in the state going forward.<\/p>\n

The main event marks the first fight of 2026 for Sterling (25-5).
\nThe former 135-pound champion is coming off a unanimous decision
\nwin over Brian
\nOrtega<\/a>. This came after losing a decision to Movsar
\nEvloev<\/a> in 2024. “Funk Master” will look to further cement
\nhimself as a contender at featherweight with a victory and
\nofficially weighed 146 pounds on the dot.<\/p>\n

This is the first UFC main attraction for Zalal (18-5-1). “The
\nMoroccan Devil” is an impressive 5-0 since returning to the Octagon
\nin 2024 and is coming off an armbar submission win over Josh Emmett<\/a>.
\nOther victories over Calvin
\nKattar<\/a> and Jack Shore<\/a>
\nhave cemented the 29-year-old as a fighter to watch. The Factory X
\nproduct weighed 145.5 pounds for his first five-round fight.<\/p>\n

UFC Vegas 116 will stream in its entirety on Paramount+ on
\nSaturday. The fight card’s prelims begin at 5 p.m. ET\/2 p.m. PT,
\nwhile the main card kicks off at 8 p.m. ET\/5 p.m. PT.<\/p>\n
