Garry is considered among the frontrunners for a
\nUFC<\/a> welterweight title shot against Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a>. \u201cThe Future\u201d has aimed multiple shots at Makhachev
\nsince the Dagestani star became the champion last year. Garry
\ncontinues to callout Makhachev at regular intervals, while also
\nslamming him for inactivity. Garry recently called out the champion
\nfor \u201cprincess\u201d behavior while rallying for a title shot.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst you say you have a hand injury, Dana said August, you\u2019re
\nsaying July – I\u2019ve been ready since you last turned me down in
\nMay,\u201d Garry wrote on Instagram. \u201cWe\u2019re all waiting on you

Makhachev is seemingly open to defending his title against Garry.
\nThe champion hinted that he is healthy and waiting for a

Makhachev (28-1) won the title with a dominant unanimous decision
\nover Jack
\nDella Maddalena<\/a> at UFC 322 this past November. While rumors
\nsuggest that Makhachev was initially being considered to defend his
\ntitle against Ilia
\nTopuria<\/a> at the White House in June, that didn\u2019t materialize.
\nWhile Dana White said that Makhachev is out with a hand injury, the
\nchampion never confirmed the report. Meanwhile, Makhachev suggested
\nthat he would likely defend his title in July. However, White said
\nthat it would likely be in August. <\/p>\n

Garry (17-1) is not the only contender chasing a title shot against
\nMakhachev. Undefeated Ecuadorian Michael
\nMorales<\/a> also considers himself a frontrunner for the next title
\nshot against Makhachev. Meanwhile, surging knockout artist Carlos
\nPrates<\/a> is scheduled to fight Maddalena at UFC Perth on May 2,
\nwith the winner definitely in a spot to make a case for the next
