\nCosta<\/a> is eager to welcome Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> to light heavyweight. <\/p>\n

Chimaev (15-0) won the middleweight title against Dricus Du
\nPlessis<\/a> at UFC 319 last year. \u201cBorz\u201d is now scheduled to defend
\nhis title against Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> at UFC 328<\/a>
\non May 9 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Chimaev
\nhas clearly expressed his interest in moving up to light
\nheavyweight soon after. <\/p>\n

Chimaev\u2019s longtime foil Costa is waiting with open arms to welcome
\nhim at light heavyweight. While a fight between the two is yet to
\ncome to fruition, Costa and Chimaev have traded barbs with each
\nother on several occasions over the years. Costa believes a light
\nheavyweight clash against him with be even worse for Chimaev than a
\nmiddleweight bout would be. Having recently moved up to 205 pounds,
\nCosta considers himself even more dangerous there. \u201cBorrachinha\u201d
\nnotes that he doesn\u2019t have to lose any muscle mass for light
\nheavyweight. The Brazilian vows to make Chimaev\u2019s light heavyweight
\nmove \u201ctragic.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m a Monster’<\/h2>\n

\u201cI just wish he comes to 205,\u201d Costa told Submission Radio<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m going to be here with my
\narms open, waiting for him\u2026 [205] is going to be even worse for
\nhim. At 205, I\u2019m a monster; I don\u2019t need to burn any muscle\u2026 It\u2019s
\ngoing to be tragic for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Costa is coming off back-to-back upset with over surging Russian
\nprospects. Costa recently finished Azamat
\nMurzakanov<\/a> in a light heavyweight tilt at UFC 327<\/a>,
\nhanding the previously undefeated prospect his first professional
\nloss. Costa says he is now open to juggling between middleweight
\nand light heavyweight. <\/p>\n
