The
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a> will break new ground later this
\nsummer.<\/p>\n

The Las Vegas-based promotion announced on Monday that the Octagon
\nwill head to Belgrade, Serbia for an event on Aug. 1. A venue and
\nheadlining attraction were not revealed for what is expected to be
\na UFC Fight Night card.<\/p>\n

The UFC currently has a pair of Serbian fighters under contract:
\nUros
\nMedic<\/a> and Dusko
\nTodorovic<\/a>. Medic made a passionate plea for the organization to
\nhead to his home country following a first-round knockout of
\nGeoff
\nNeal<\/a> at
\nUFC Houston<\/a> on Feb. 21.<\/p>\n

Calling His Shot<\/h2>\n

“Belgrade, Serbia. UFC this summer. Leon \u2018Rocky\u2019 Edwards if he\u2019s
\navailable,\u201d Medic said in his post-fight interview. Let\u2019s get this
\nwork in. I\u2019m gonna knock him out \u2014 and a guy after him and a guy
\nafter him. I\u2019m knocking everybody out.\u201d
