Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a> is yet again doubling down on a
\nUFC<\/a> return. <\/p>\n

According to recent reports, McGregor (22-6) is likely to return
\nfor a fight against Max
\nHolloway<\/a> this summer. The former UFC double champ recently
\nposted training pictures while assuring fans of a return.<\/p>\n

\u201cLegs still sharper than a guillotine. Training with the young
\nwolves, sharpening the blade,\u201d McGregor wrote on Instagram. \u201cThe
\nreturn is coming whether they like it or not.\u201d<\/p>\n

A History of Broken Promises<\/h2>\n

However, this is not the first time McGregor has teased a return to
\naction. \u201cNotorious\u201d hasn\u2019t fought since breaking his leg in a
\ntrilogy loss against Dustin
\nPoirier<\/a> in 2021. McGregor has since teased a return to the UFC
\non multiple occasions but failed to deliver. The Dubliner was even
\nmatched up against Michael
\nChandler<\/a> at UFC 303 in 2024, but pulled out due to a toe
\ninjury. McGregor was also rallying for a spot on the
\nUFC White House<\/a> card in June, which didn\u2019t materialize.
\nHowever, Dana White currently sounds very positive about McGregor
\nreturning this summer. Journalist Ariel Helwani also reported that
\nsomething would have to go horribly wrong for McGregor to not
\nreturn in the summer.
