\nSendai in Miyagi, Japan. The Japanese promotion recently announced

Ougikubo claimed the flyweight strap on New Year\u2019s Eve, when he
\ncompleted his run through the
\nRizin Fighting Federation<\/a> grand prix with a unanimous decision
\ntriumph against Yuki Motoya<\/a>.
\nAfter suffering a three-bout losing streak from September 2022 to
\nJuly 2023, the 39-year-old Japanese standout has rallied to win
\nfive consecutive outings \u2014 all via decision \u2014 under the Rizin
\nbanner.<\/p>\n

Takahashi, meanwhile, has been victorious in four of his last five
\nfights. The 25-year-old American Top Team representative kicked off
\nhis 2026 campaign with a first-round submission triumph against
\nNkazimulo Zulo at Rizin \u201cLandmark Vol. 13\u201d on April 12.<\/p>\n
