Davey
\nGrant<\/a> is brutally honest with himself. <\/p>\n

Grant (18-8) took on
\nDana White’s Contender Series<\/a> graduate Adrian
\nLuna Martinetti<\/a> at
\nUFC Fight Night 274<\/a> last weekend. The highly touted Ecuadorian
\ndebutant was a sizeable favorite going into the bout against
\nGrant. <\/p>\n

However, Grant overwhelmed Martinetti with his decades of
\nexperience, turning it into an ugly slugfest. Grant walked away
\nwith a unanimous decision while both fighters earned an extra
\n$100,00 each for the \u201cFight of the Night.\u201d <\/p>\n

Grant recently opened up on the juncture he is currently at in his
\ncareer. The 40-year-old isn\u2019t very hopeful of making a title run in
\nthe
\nUFC<\/a> before he retires. While Grant might enter the title
\npicture with a series of knockouts, he says he isn\u2019t \u201cdelusional.\u201d
\nGrant is focused on making a legacy of being entertaining, which
\nleaves a long list of opponents open to the Englishman.<\/p>\n

Staying Realistic<\/h2>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not delusional,\u201d Grant said on \u201cThe Ariel Helwani Show.\u201d \u201cI
\ndon\u2019t think I\u2019m going to get in there and make a title run. Look,
\nif that happens, if I went and knocked the next three out in quick
\nfights\u2014maybe we can start looking at that. It\u2019s always going to be
\nthe dream to be up there. But I\u2019m creating a legacy of having
\nexciting fights, which is what I want to be known for. I\u2019m trying
\nto make as much money as I can for my family before I retire, so I
\ncan invest and try to bring everyone on.\u201d

\nGrant<\/a>‘s approach to the fight game at this stage of his
\ncareer:<\/p>\n
