\nSayers<\/a> was found guilty of murder and other charges on Monday,
\naccording to a statement<\/a> by the Adams & Broomfield Colorado
\nDistrict Attorney’s Office.<\/p>\n
\ntampering with physical evidence and attempt to commit tampering
\nwith physical evidence in relation to the fatal shooting of Malcolm
\nWatson in Commerce City, Colorado, on August 10, 2024. Sayers is
\nscheduled for sentencing with Judge Jeffrey Ruff on July 24.<\/p>\n
\nor kill Watson, but he did admit to carrying a gun with out
\nconcealed carry license. Meanwhile, the Denver Post reports that
\nSayers gun was never fired that day. Investigators believe that the
\ngun used to kill Watson was \u201can untraceable 3-D printed or
\nkit-built ghost gun.\u201d That weapon has not been recovered.<\/p>\n
\nLumumba Sayers Jr. According to an arrest affadavit, Sayers
\napproached a man and shot him in the head at a child\u2019s birthday
\nparty at Pioneer Park in Commerce City The victim was identified as
\nWatson, who was believed to have been a friend of the man accused
\nof killing Sayers\u2019 son in 2023. According to witness accounts,
\nSayers allegedly walked back to the man\u2019s body and attempted to
\nshoot him again, but the gun \u201cjammed.\u201d Witnesses also claimed that
\nSayers removed a set of keys from Watson\u2019s pocket and attempted to
\nplant a gun near his body.<\/p>\n
\nson, but the murder case has since been dismissed. The exact nature
\nof the relationship between Watson and Braxton is unclear.<\/p>\nAnti-Gun Advocates<\/h2>\n
\nadvocates who focused on stopping violence in their community. The
