Marwan
\nRahiki<\/a> always knew that his style would shine under the bright
\nlights.<\/p>\n

Rahiki was originally scheduled to face Jack
\nJenkins<\/a> at
\nUFC Perth<\/a> on Saturday. However, an injured Jenkins was replaced
\non four days\u2019 notice by Hungarian debutant Oliver
\nSchmid<\/a>. Rahiki dropped Schmid with a left hook in the first
\nround, and a few follow-up shots were needed for referee Mike
\nBeltran to step in.<\/p>\n

While this served as Rahiki\u2019s sophomore UFC outing, he was the
\nthird fight on the main card at the RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.
\nRahiki also debuted on a main card, appearing opposite Harry
\nHardwick<\/a> in March and breaking Hardwick\u2019s jaw in the process.
\nAlthough Rahiki respects the competitors on the prelims, he never
\nsaw himself opening a fight card. The Moroccan-Australian always
\nfelt that his action-first style would earn him high bout order
\nplacements. Rahiki boasted in his post-fight interview:<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is what I imagined coming into the UFC,\u201d Rahiki said
\nconfidently. \u201cWith all the respect to the prelims and early
\nprelims, I\u2019ve never seen myself as the first fight in the card. I
\nknew the way I fight, it\u2019s exciting, it\u2019s entertaining. With the
\nbonus on the line, there\u2019s a prize. I train so hard, if there\u2019s
\nthis much to take, I\u2019m not gonna be happy with just a little
\nbit.\u201d<\/p>\n

The unbeaten Rahiki (9-0) has finished his adversary in all nine of
\nhis career wins. Making his way up the ranks of the Hex Fight
\nSeries circuit, \u201cFreaky\u201d went on to secure a contract on the 2025
\nseason of Dana White’s Contender Series<\/a>. He has only
\ncompeted beyond the second round once, when he tapped out Semakadde
\nKakembo<\/a> for the HFS 145-pound title last May.<\/p>\n

\nentertaining.\u201d<\/p>\n

Marwan Rahiki picked up his second stoppage win in two months and
\nbelieves he is just getting started.
