Hokit has quickly risen to stardom in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>, cutting pro wrestling-style
\npromos. \u201cThe Incredible Hok\u201d also toes the boundary at times, like
\nsaying Curtis
\nBlaydes<\/a>\u2019 parents knew the exact position of coitus to have ugly

Strickland, who is known for his controversial trash talk, believes
\nHokit\u2019s style is fake and fabricated. Strickland claims he
\ninstantly shuts off clips of Hokit whenever they pop up on his
\nfeed. Strickland is also not a fan of Hokit interviewing random
\npeople on the streets. However, Strickland has nothing personal
\nagainst Hokit and even likes him as a person. Strickland further
\nadmits that while he may not like it, Hokit\u2019s style is seemingly
\nworking as it has landed him a spot on the
\nUFC White House: Freedom 250<\/a> card.<\/p>\n

\u201cI respect him for doing it,\u201d Strickland said on UFC on Paramount.
\n\u201cTo me, it\u2019s too much. It\u2019s so fake and fabricated. I\u2019ll see a clip
\nand I\u2019ll shut it right away. I like Josh, I\u2019ve trained with him,
\nI\u2019ve met him personally. Actually, he is a nice guy. But going and
\ninterviewing people on the street, you\u2019re like an old influencer.
\nYou\u2019re mid 30s, and you\u2019re trying to be an influencer. Stop dude.
\nShut the f**k up. Be yourself. Go train. Or don\u2019t, man. I guess
\nwhat you\u2019re doing is working. You\u2019re on the White House card.\u201d<\/p>\n

Strickland is scheduled to challenge Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> for the middleweight title at
\nUFC 328<\/a> on May 9 at Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
\nMeanwhile, the undefeated Hokit (9-0) has three UFC wins, earning
\nbonuses for all three. The UFC is also apparently backing their
\nrising star as Hokit earned both the \u201cFight of the Night\u201d and
\n\u201cPerformance of the Night\u201d bonuses for his unanimous decision win
\nover Curtis
\nBlaydes<\/a> at UFC 327<\/a>
\nlast month. Hokit was immediately booked against Derrick
\nLewis<\/a> (29-13) for the White House card on June 14 at the behest
\nof President Donald Trump, who was in attendance.<\/p>\n
