It was always a question of when, not if, the
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> would hold a fight card in Saudi
\nArabia this year.<\/p>\n

Via press release on Thursday, the organization announced that June
\n19 would be the date of the next Saudi Arabian fight card run by
\nthe PFL. The event, which is currently listed as
\nPFL MENA 10<\/a>, does not currently have a headliner or billing
\nset. Fights will go down at the King Abdullah Sports City Indoor
\nArena in Jeddah. The promotion announced that a pair of local
\nathletes would be competing at the event, with one of the two
\nmaking their professional debuts.<\/p>\n

Currently 3-0 as a professional, the PFL has indicated that Jeddah
\nnative Malik
\nBasahel<\/a> will absolutely be part of the lineup. He does not yet
\nhave an opponent announced, with that news coming soon. A longtime
\namateur, Basahel dabbled in the PFL three times as an unpaid
\nathlete until he flipped the switch in May 2025 to enter the
\nprofessional ranks. Over the course of about six months, the
\nnow-24-year-old demolished Mountassir
\nBoutouta<\/a>, Ahmed
\nMostafa<\/a> and Mahmoud
\nAtef<\/a>, all within two rounds.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s time to go pro<\/h2>\n

Following in fellow countryman Basahel\u2019s footsteps, Hattan
\nAlsaif<\/a> will be also entering into her first pro match at this
\nevent. The atomweight from Riyadh was linked to a matchup in
\nDecember against Haidy
\nAhmed<\/a>, which was initially to be her first fight as a paid
\ncompetitor. An injury knocked her out of the contest, and she will
\nbe appearing at this fight card against an undetermined adversary.
\nFour second-round knockouts in the amateur ranks of PFL propelled
\nher to this point.
