Miller took on Jared
\nGordon<\/a> in a lightweight matchup at UFC 328<\/a>
\non Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Miller
\nlocked in a guillotine choke, forcing Gordon (21-9) to tap in the
\nvery first round. Miller extended his record for the most fights in
\n
\nUFC<\/a> history (47), most wins in UFC history (28), and most
\nguillotine submissions in UFC history (6). This also marked the
\n20th UFC finish for the 42-year-old, putting him just behind
\nCharles
\nOliveira<\/a> (21) for the most finishes in the history of the
\npromotion. <\/p>\n

The Quest for 50<\/h2>\n

Miller (39-19) wants to achieve the record of 50 UFC fights. \u201cA-10\u201d
\nhopes to fight once more in 2026, reach his aim of 50 UFC fights by
\n2027, and hang up his gloves. Miller reveals that he is even
\nexcited about the night he will finally leave his gloves inside the
\nOctagon and doesn\u2019t want anything to take away from that
\nmoment.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother one this year, and then I can bang up those next few in
\n2027 and be done, hang them up, leave the gloves in there,\u201d Miller
\nsaid in a post-fight interview with the UFC. \u201cIt\u2019s weird, I don\u2019t
\nknow how many other athletes feel this way, but I\u2019m excited for
\nthat moment. I\u2019m excited for that fight. And I don\u2019t want something
\nto happen to steal it away from me, where I know that it\u2019s gonna
\nhappen.\u201d <\/p>\n
