The betting odds shifted drastically just hours before Sean Brady<\/a>\u2019s
\nUFC
\n328<\/a> clash against Joaquin
\nBuckley<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Brady (19-2) took on Buckley (21-8) in a welterweight tilt at UFC
\n328 on Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
\nBrady had opened as a -250 favorite on the sportsbooks against
\nBuckley, a +210 underdog. However, the odds started shifting
\nbizarrely just hours before the fight, with Brady closing as a +220
\nunderdog and Buckley a -180 favorite. Fans and pundits immediately
\nstarted suspecting foul play due to the shifting odds. However,
\nBrady allayed all fears by dominating Buckley on the ground for
\nthree rounds to earn a unanimous decision win.<\/p>\n

Unless a fighter knowingly takes a dive, odds usually shift
\ndrastically if news leaks from camp about an injury. Brady revealed
\nthat the
\nUFC<\/a> contacted him hours before the fight to ask about his
\nhealth. While Brady\u2019s wife knew about the shifting odds even before
\nthat, she didn\u2019t inform him, as she didn\u2019t want him to lose focus.
\nBrady assured fans that there was nothing sketchy behind the scenes
\nand that the odds likely shifted due to unusual money pouring in
\nfor Buckley. <\/p>\n

Nothing Unusual to Report<\/h2>\n

\u201cSomebody at the UFC reached out to me a couple of hours before the
\nfight and just made sure I was fine,\u201d Brady said at the post-fight press conference<\/a> . \u201cI was like, \u2018I\u2019m
\ncompletely fine, there\u2019s nothing wrong with me.\u2019 My wife was
\nupstairs; they already all knew about it, they weren\u2019t telling me
\nbecause they didn\u2019t want anything to get into my head. But as soon
\nas they called, I told them I\u2019m good, it went one ear out of the
\nother. I could have been a -10000 favorite or a +10000 [underdog],
\nI wouldn\u2019t know cause I didn\u2019t look. I\u2019m completely fine and
