\nmain or co-main event.<\/p>\n

The
\nUFC<\/a> returns to Philly with UFC
\n330<\/a> on August 15 at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia,
\nPennsylvania. Pyfer (16-3) was born in Philadelphia and has trained
\nthere at Balance Studios to this day. Coming off a huge win in the
\nmain event of
\nUFC Seattle<\/a> against Israel
\nAdesanya<\/a>, Pyfer expects to be the main event in his hometown.
\nHowever, rumors are circulating that Islam
\nMakhachev<\/a> could put his welterweight title on the line against
\nIan
\nGarry<\/a> in the main event at UFC 330. Pyfer says he doesn\u2019t even
\nwant to be on the card if he is not in the main event. <\/p>\n

No Hometown Love<\/h2>\n

Since numbered UFC main events are usually title fights, \u201cBodybagz\u201d
\nis willing to settle for the co-main event. However, there has been
\nradio silence from the UFC with hardly a couple of months left for
\nUFC 330.<\/p>\n

\u201cI’m pissed… I should be the main event of Philly… I have no
\ninterest if I’m not the main event,\u201d Pyfer told Ariel Helwani.
\n\u201cWhere I train, where I come from, I think I should be the main
\nevent at Philly. We have so many Philly fighters, and you got
\npotentially a Russian and Irish dude. Don’t make sense to me\u2026 I
\nwould do the co-main. That makes sense maybe\u2026 60 days left, no
\ncontact.\u201d <\/p>\n
