In a video posted on the
\nXtreme Couture<\/a> Instagram account, Strickland brought the belt
\nback to the Las Vegas-based gym and praised his training
\npartners.<\/p>\n

\u201cAfter every L I\u2019ve got, the fact that I went back and came to the
\ngym is why I have another one of these f\u2014ers,\u201d Strickland said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat being said, as always, I want to thank you guys. I\u2019m pretty
\nf—-ed up; I\u2019m going to take a few weeks off. But I wouldn\u2019t be
\nhere without you guys, seriously. F—-ing, all the coaches, would
\nnot be here without you. So, it\u2019s not just my belt, it\u2019s our belt.
\nThank you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Strickland upset Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> via split decision in the UFC 328<\/a>
\nheadliner this past weekend to capture the middleweight crown. It\u2019s
\nthe second championship win for Strickland, who initially shocked
\nthe world by ending Israel
\nAdesanya<\/a>\u2019s championship reign at UFC 293 in September 2023.<\/p>\n
