Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> will make his first Real American Freestyle foray a
\nlittle more than a month after losing the
\nUFC<\/a> middleweight belt.<\/p>\n

The wrestling promotion on Tuesday announced that Chimaev will face
\nDillon
\nDanis<\/a> in a catchweight match in the RAF 10 headliner on June 13
\nat Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis. The card will stream via Fox
\nNation.<\/p>\n

Chimaev suffered his first professional MMA defeat in the UFC 328<\/a>
\nheadliner, where he dropped a split decision to Sean
\nStrickland<\/a> on May 9 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New
\nJersey. \u201cBorz\u201d has been known for dominating foes with his
\nwrestling and grappling throughout his UFC tenure, but he struggled
\nsomewhat in that regard against Strickland. While the Chechen star
\nwas initially expected to move up to 205 pounds after UFC 328, his
\nteam recently
\nrevealed<\/a> that he was obsessed with securing an immediate
\nrematch against Strickland in the Octagon.<\/p>\n

Danis initially gained notoriety as a training partner of Conor
\nMcGregor<\/a> with a skilled jiu-jitsu background. Known for his
\noutspoken persona, the controversial New York native competed twice
\nfor Bellator
\nMMA<\/a> in 2018 and 2019. \u201cEl Jefe\u201d has since lost an exhibition
\nboxing match to Logan Paul<\/a>
\nand captured MMA middleweight gold under the Misfits Boxing banner.
\nMost recently, Danis fell to Colby
\nCovington<\/a> via technical fall at RAF 7.<\/p>\n
