\nlayoff following UFC

The New Jersey State Athletic Control Board recently released a
\nfull list of medical suspensions from this past Saturday\u2019s event,
\nwhich took place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
\nStrickland defeated Khamzat
\nChimaev<\/a> via split decision to claim the middleweight title in
\nUFC 328 headliner.<\/p>\n

Strickland, who recently revealed a list of shoulder-related
\ninjuries, is suspended indefinitely pending orthopedist clearance
\nof his left hand. At a minimum he is suspended 45 days with 30 days
\nof no contact. Chimaev emerged relatively healthy, as he received a
\n45 day term with 30 days of no contact.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, co-main event combatants Joshua Van<\/a>
\nand Tatsuro
\nTaira<\/a> both received indefinite suspensions following their
\nflyweight title bout, which Van won via fifth-round TKO. Van
\nrequires clearance of his left hand before he can return to action,
\nwhile Taira needs a CT scan. Taira also has a mandatory 90-day
\nsuspension with 60 days of no contact due to a knockout loss.<\/p>\n
