\nMVP \u201cRousey vs. Carano\u201d<\/a> as Jake Paul<\/a>
\nputs his brand in a showcase event on Netflix, featuring the return
\nof Ronda
\nRousey<\/a> and Gina
\nCarano<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Both women have openly talked about their optimism to open new
\ndoors in the sport, working with MVP to create another place for
\nfighters to get the most out of their careers. One name that will
\nbe watching this weekend is one who has shared the cage with Rousey
\nin first ever women\u2019s fight in the
\nUltimate Fighting Championship<\/a>, Liz
\nCarmouche<\/a>, the 2025
\nProfessional Fighters League<\/a> flyweight tournament winner.<\/p>\n

Paul has shown that he is open to new opportunities and challenges
\nwith his promotion, searching for ways to elevate the sport between
\nmultiple companies. During an appearance on \u2018Undefeated & Undisputed\u2019 with<\/a> Chael Sonnen<\/a>
\nand Ian
\nParker<\/a> on Smash Cast Media, Paul talked about the future of
\nMVP, going as far as to say he\u2019d be open to co-promoting with the
\nPFL. Paul said while it will depend on who wins between Rousey and
\nCarano, he\u2019d love to work with the promotion, even dropping Cris
\nCyborg\u2019s name in the mix as a potential opponent.<\/p>\n

When talking to Sherdog.com, Carmouche, who is coming off a 2025
\nyear in which she won the PFL women\u2019s flyweight tournament, is
\nquite interested in a crossover fight. When asked about Paul\u2019s
\ncomments on working with the league, Carmouche praised Paul but
\nalso said it\u2019s very appealing to represent the brand.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat would be amazing,\u201d Carmouche said. \u201cI think for one, Jake
\nPaul\u2019s doing a great job with being able to get the fighters the
\nmoney they deserve, showcasing them, and getting attention on them.
\nWhether people are like \u2018Oh this isn\u2019t a real fight\u2019 or not, people
\nare tuning in, they want to see the fights regardless of what they
\nare. It\u2019s accessible on Netflix, so I think that\u2019s amazing. Then,
\nto represent and to go out there and have a cross-promotion fight,
\nrepresenting the PFL against MVP, that would be super cool to me.
\nWhen you say the idea of trying to find who truly the best fighter
\nis, a crossover gives you that opportunity, and that\u2019s really
\nappealing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Back in 2013 at UFC
\n157<\/a>, Rousey defeated Carmouche by first-round armbar, her
\nsignature move that would lead to a lucrative career in and outside
\nof the cage. Carmouche had to work and wait for her opportunities,
\nbut has done so by winning her championship titles after leaving
\nthe UFC, where she has picked up PFL and Bellator
\nMMA<\/a> titles.<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s no true telling what the future holds for MVP MMA,
\nRousey, Carano, or even Liz
\nCarmouche<\/a>, who is back in action at
\nPFL San Diego<\/a> on June 27, there sounds as if the interest is
\nthere for cross-promotion between both companies. Paul previously
\nhad a business relationship with the PFL, and if Carmouche has
