Despite being on a precarious stage in his career, Cody
\nBrundage<\/a> felt no pressure fighting on his 32nd
\nbirthday. <\/p>\n

Brundage (12-9) took on Andre
\nPetroski<\/a> (13-6) in a middleweight tilt at
\nUFC Fight Night 276<\/a>. Brundage dropped Petroski with a left hook
\nearly in the second round and unleashed vicious ground-and-pound to
\nsecure a stoppage win. <\/p>\n

The win over Petroski marked the end of a four-fight winless streak
\nfor Brundage. Brundage admits that this could have marked the end
\nof his
\nUFC<\/a> career if he hadn\u2019t gotten his hand raised. However, the
\n32-year-old claims he didn\u2019t feel any pressure going into his clash
\nagainst Petroski. Going into his 16th UFC fight, Brundage didn\u2019t
\nwant to look back regretting not having enjoyed his time inside the
\nOctagon. Instead of trying to live up to expectations, Brundage
\nfought for himself.<\/p>\n

Gratitude Over Fear<\/h2>\n

\u201cNo pressure this time,\u201d Brundage said in a post-fight interview
\nwith the UFC. \u201cI was at peace with whatever the result was\u2026 I
\ncompete better when I don\u2019t feel that pressure. I\u2019m very realistic
\nwith myself. I knew this was potentially my last one if I don\u2019t go
\nin there and get the job done. It would be a real shame to look
\nback and be like, \u2018Man, you didn\u2019t enjoy anything you were doing.
\nYou didn\u2019t do it for yourself at all.\u2019 I don\u2019t want to live in that
\nreality. So just make a switch. I was just enjoying. Gratitude and
\nfear can\u2019t coexist at the same time.\u201d
